Join Global Family Travels for an immersion in the jungles of the Amazon, where we will spend time with indigenous communities located on the banks of the largest river in the world. Guided by our Seattle-based host and soccer coach Fernando Barros, who grew up playing soccer & body surfing on the Copacabana beach, we will challenge our local community hosts to friendly games of soccer, a favorite pastime for so many villages in Brazil.

Once out of the Amazon’s rainforest, we’ll experience a very different side of Brazil – the vast sweep of desert-like dunes of Maranhao, in the country’s northeast. We’ll end the trip with a couple days doing what Brazil is known best for, enjoying the gorgeous beaches that frame so much of this vibrant and beautiful country.
