A highlight of this tour is sure to be the homestay with a host family, living as they do, helping to prepare meals and participating in the daily routine of the house.

This immersive 9-day trip Family Adventure to Costa Rica includes a unique mix of cultural and educational activities, and participation in community service projects aimed at helping local conservation initiatives and in improving the lives of people we engage with. Participants will enjoy outdoor adventures exploring volcanoes, beaches and lagoons, and visits to handicraft workshops and other cultural and historical sites!

Participants will cultivate deep bonds with this coastal country through an immersive experiences and opportunities to work together on community health projects to promote positive change. There will be opportunities to share and examine issues that impact health in the USA and Costa Rica, and the roles of that Nurses have in the delivery of healthcare. Alongside fun, outdoor adventures such as exploring Costa Rica’s rainforests, volcanoes, wildlife reserves, beaches and lagoons, guests will enjoy a range of activities including chocolate-making and ancestral medicine workshops.
