We invite you to immerse yourself in an unparalleled season of giving and receiving on our Gifts of India Tour.  Participants will have a unique opportunities to engage directly with India’s youth and to give back to local communities in need.  After visiting some of  India’s grandest wonders,  such as the Taj Mahal and New Delhi sites, we travel to the rural village of Dehradun, in the foothills of the Himalayas to support the good work of the revered Buddhist monk, Lama Tenzin.  Lama Tenzin has founded a number of organizations which serve abandoned and neglected youth whome he has rescued from remote areas of the Dolpo region of Nepal.  We will work alongside Lama Tenzin and the orphaned children on a variety of service-learning projects, including helping to build a library, a cross-cultural photography project and community service work with the children to support of the Tibetan elderly in the Derhadun.
