Summary
Along with our partner, Tag International Development (Tag), we invite you to join us on a culturally immersive trip to support Tag’s youth development and agricultural programs in Kenya. Besides awe-inspiring safaris to discover the extraordinary wildlife in the Mara North Conservancy and Masai Mara National Reserve, as part of the Learn, Serve and Immerse components of this journey, you will be engage with the community of Kisumu, empowering girls and their education through playing in a Hoops for Kids program, work with Kenyan farmers to learn about agricultural initiatives to help alleviate barriers they face to succeed at growing rice, and support youth access to vocational and entrepreneurship training and skills.
Resting in the magnificent Great Rift Valley and presided over by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, Kenya is characterised by hauntingly beautiful natural landscapes of forested hills, patchwork farms, wooded savanna and vast forests brimming with an extraordinary abundance of wildlife. The nation’s diverse range of traditional African cultures is influenced by over 70 unique ethnic groups from the Maasai, Samburu, Kikuyu, and Turkana tribes to the Arabs and Indians that settled on the coast.
