 Travel and COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Updates on COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

With the ongoing outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we know that there are many questions to ponder regarding your travel plans.

The health and safety of Global Family Travels travelers, community partners, colleagues and guides is of paramount importance to us. We continue to closely monitor the situation as it evolves. We remain in contact with our ground operators, air providers, and our security team and compile their expert advice in order to make factual decisions.

Thank you for your interest and continued trust for returning clients. We look forward to providing you with trips in the near future to Learn, Serve & Immerse.

For any questions or concerns regarding current or future bookings, please call our team for assistance at (844) 438-7854 or email us at

We will update this page and the following resources as we receive new information.

On March 19, the U.S. State Department implemented a global Level 4 Health Advisory advising US citizens not to travel. We have postponed our group departures through the end of May and continue to closely monitor and evaluate all our planned departures throughout the year.

For information on COVID-19 and tips for staying healthy when leaving your home, we recommend the excellent resources provided by the US Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO):
